Overview:
Under the direction of the leader assigned to Staffing, the Staffing/Bed Management Coordinator provides balanced staffing patterns for the inpatient units based on acuity, census and unit activities. Registers patients as needed, places the patient in a bed per the direction of the charge nurse or designee.
Qualifications
- Additional Job Description
- Education: High School or equivalent, Business School or College helpful.
- Experience: 1-3 years clerical experience required.
- Other: Basic computer skills necessary. Typing 50 wpm, professional verbal and written communication skills, medical terminology and some medical insurance knowledge required. Working knowledge of Windows-based operating systems.
